As golden hour sets in, clean looking NPCU #90214 leads Amtrak Downeaster train 696 which is making good time passing the East Kingston B&M passenger station.
The Downeaster heads over the bridge and through Salmon Mills in Rollinsford just before making a quick stop in Dover before continuing South to Boston.
Downeaster trainset sits idle next to the idle Maine Eastern consist. Sadly, Maine Eastern ended its 10-year lease on the Rockland Branch in 2015.
